The maximum intensity of MiraMate Big Magic is 8,000 microteslas, and the maximum intensity of Mini Magic is 20,000 microteslas (with stacked coils).

While this basic maximum intensity information is usable, it doesn’t address all the questions, and isn’t in the most common cross-reference measurement. The conversion, and questions not answered, are as follows:
Conversion:
– MiraMate Big Magic- maximum intensity – 8,000 microteslas =800 gauss.
– Mini Magic – 20,000 microteslas (with stacked coils) = 200 gauss.
Questions:
1. Is the big magic intensity rating based on the current big mat, or is that on the earlier smaller mat which is half the size and if it is like products from other companies, the when the same power supply is used generally the smaller mats have more intensity. If there is an intensity difference, what is the intensity for both the large mat and the original smaller mat?
what is the intensity of a single coil
2. For the mini-magic, what is the typical intensity of a single unstacked coils with a new battery? Typically the power drops as battery energy drops so intensity would also drop as battery energy declines
3. What is the typical intensity of the 4 coil array for the individual coil with a fresh battery? Typically. unless the power provided is great enough, the intensity would be less than the single coil even though the area treated is greater.
4, What is the is the intensity of the coil array, stacked back to back to optimize intensity, with a new battery?
Thanks!

Hi. The magnetic flux density of Big Magic Deluxe Mat at high power is approximately 5000 Gauss. Low power is approximately 2000 Gauss. Flux density remains the same between the old and new mats, because the total flux has been doubled, but the area has also doubled. What the numbers don’t tell is that the depth of the field is deeper, giving greater penetration. The deluxe mat is a low-intensity system, as are all large mats. It is 6000 gauss spread over the surface of the mat, so it is 6000 divided by the square centimeter area of the mat area.
As for Mini Magic, unstacked coils are half the intensity of stacked coils, but the area is halved. And the intensity and penetration of single coils and quad coils are the same. The treatment area of quad coils is larger than single coils.

The other question that goes along with my earlier question is what is the intensity for the big-magic on the lower power setting, both with the original smaller mat and with the current larger mat?
